Chocolate Frogs in Pottermore and Where to Find Them


I'm not sure how many chocolate frogs all in all but I got 11. I googled and some said it's only 11 on the first book but I'm still not sure. Anyway, this post is dedicated in helping you find your own chocolate frogs as you go on and experience Pottermore. Let's begin...

1) Morgana: "Also known as Morgan le Fay, Morgana was a Dark sorceress who was King Arthur’s half sister and an enemy of Merlin."
Location: Chapter 6 moment 2; see that candy wrappers on the seat? It's there.


2) Albus Dumbledore: "Considered by man the greatest wizard of modern times, Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Gridelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner Nicolas Flamel. Professor Dumbledore enjoys chamber music and tenpin bowling." (Trivia: Full name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore)
Location: Chapter 6 moment 2; click on the trunk under the table to open it up and then viola! You've found yourself a Chocolate Frog Card.


3) Circe: "Circe was an ancient Greek who lived on the island of Aeaea and was an expert at turning lost sailors in to pigs. Now that you’re in a house, you will earn a point for every card you collect."
Location: Chapter 8, moment 1; zoom in once, landing of the stairs, right side--you might have a hard time looking for it since the carpet is red and so is the card

 
4) Paracelsus: "Paracelsus was a renowned sixteenth-century physician, alchemist, and surgeon."
Location: Chapter 8 moment 3; it's behind the barrel, right side


5) Salazar Slytherin: "Salazar Slytherin was the founder of Slytherin house at Hogwarts. He was one of the first recorded Parselmouths, an accomplished Legilimens, and a notorious champion of pure-blood supremacy."
Location: Chapter 9 moment 2; near the right side of the throphy case, left side and the color's green


6) Hengist of Woodcroft: "Driven away from his home by Muggle persecutors, Hengist is supposed to have settled in Scotland, where he founded the village of Hogsmeade. The Three Broomsticks inn is alleged to be Hengist’s old home."
Location: Chapter 10 moment 3; you have to zoom all the way to have a clear view of the pumpkin, it's on the right side of the pumpkin and behind the shadow


7) Merlin: "Merlin is the most famous wizard of all time. He is sometimes known as the Prince of Enchanters and was part of the Court of King Arthur." (Trivia: I read somewhere that he's from Slytherin)
Location: Chapter 12 moment 1, zoom into the bookshelf fourth row

8) Helga Hufflepuff: "Loyal and charming, Helga Hufflepuff was the founder of Hufflepuff house at Hogwarts. She was particularly famous for her dexterity at food-related charms."

Location: Chapter 13 moment 2; the card is on the ground between the two shadows on the left, when in doubt, just hover your mouse and your cursor will change to a hand. :)


9) Rowena Ravenclaw: "Rowena Ravenclaw was the founder of Ravenclaw house at Hogwarts. Beautiful and intelligent, she was the most brilliant witch of her time." (My house!)
Location: Chapter 15 moment 1; zoom all they way in, it's on the window sill


10) Cliodna: "Irish druidess, Cliodna, was a remarkable witch who discovered the magical properties of moondew."
Location: Chapter 17 moment 2; zoom once (i think), it's on the chair, left side of Harry


11) Godric Gryffindor: "Godric Gryffindor was the founder of Gryffindor house at Hogwarts and the first owner of the celebrated Sorting Hat. He was the most accomplished dueller of his time and an enlightened fighter against Muggle discrimination." 

Location: Chapter 17 moment 3; it's on the table! Right of Dumbledore--or our left, between Dumbledore and McGonagall

    There is one more, but it won't let you collect it. It is in Chapter 13 scene 1 between the candle and the chess board. It's driving me crazy!
